G'day again!

Well done on creating your blogs and adding links to my blog and that of your classmates. Last week some of you even managed to do the listening activity from BTN on the $5 note. Have you seen any yet?

There was a second listening task on last week's post too so maybe you could go and do that today!

Then, I'd like you to add some more links but this time choose Link list. You will add the web addresses for useful websites for learning English. I've got some on the sheet so ask me for the page!

Why don't you try out some of the sites? Are there any you find particularly good or like better? Put a comment on the end of this post and tell me what you've looked at and what you think!



Today is a very special day for the Chinese as they celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival. Click on this link to find out what it means! The story mentions Chang E'. Who was she? Look here at the stories related to Chang and the Mid Autumn Festival.




Well, next time I see you I'll hopefully be back safe and sound from a wonderful holiday in China! I hope you all have a great break and safe travelling to all of you leaving Sydney even if just for a few days!

Week 3

G'day all!

Hope you got to enjoy yesterday's great weather! Not sure if it's a bit soon to put away the winter woollies yet though!

Okay, so some of you still have to finish adding links to other blogs or adding an image! Please do that first today.

When you've done that, please look aback at last week's post and do the reading task. Come and tell me when you've finished that!

As a lot of you are worried about listening tasks, try this activity. See me for the worksheets.

You can then try this listening activity. The questions are on the screen. Please take your time and look at the other exercises suggested. There is a lot you can do!

Keep blogging!

Week 2

                                        G'day all

I hope you've had a good week! Well done on creating your blogs last week. There are some very interesting designs!!

For those of you who haven't yet posted anything, open your blog, log in and find the draft of what you started writing last week. Ask me to correct the errors before you publish! We don't want to have lots of mistakes, do we???

When you've done that, I'd like you to add a picture/image.

1. Minimise your blog (it's the first box  of the 3 on the top right hand corner of the screen)

2.Go to Google. Select the Images from the top right of the screen.

3. Choose an image of something you like- animal, flower etc.

4. Save the image to your desktop

5. Click on the image icon from your blog menu bar and follow the prompts to insert it on your page! Don't make it too big!!

Now I'd like you to  add a link from your blog to my blog and other blogs so please come and ask me for a copy of the instructions.

Once you've done that, click on the underlined words complete the activities. Then click on slang/idioms on the right hand menu and try a few exercises.
